which fuel pump to choose

Which fuel pump to choose for let say i'm aiming for 500hp +-....

Can Walbro 255 L/H fuel pump do the job?....or any other suggestion?

walbro will be alright.. standard bnr34 fuel pump for 500bhp also ok

If budget allows, try get an aftermarket one as the stock one would be on its last legs due to age of the car.

I used a HKS one, still do in fact. You can go for Tomei also. Walbro has a 400lph pump I believe but personally never used it but I'm sure someone can offer opinions.

yea...got someone offer me walbro 400lph but dunno how the feedback, i suppose ok coz all the while a lot of ppl using walbro 255lph no problem at all...

Sounds like a good idea.

The only reason why some people are apprehensive when it comes to Walbro is because of the many fake ones that have flooded the local market in recent years. I'm referring to the 255LPH model.

I have used Walbro in the past although not on the GTR and on a much less demanding setup. It worked perfectly fine. In fact Walbro has been in the business for decades and really, its the fake ones that are ruining its name here.

I think the 400LPH pump is a good option for you; it has the capacity and the bonus is you won't have to pay exorbitant prices.

for aftermarket, perhaps Aeromotive if you want to go for external pump setup?....the A1000 is rated at 700 lbs/hr and up to 1000hp...

most external fuel pump are noisy, dont they...
that y looking for internal ones...

Any branded pump is good pump if its geniune item. Stay away from fake boobs..........I mean fake pump...

The way i see it set up your car first, run in with your oem fuel pump because you don't want carbon deposits to build up in your brand new pistons the reason being your car will start to run very rich once you uprate the fuel pump and due to running in you can't really tune your car yet.
Go with the oem pump first then if there is a need to upgrade pump by all means pls do it.
