this is the best part abt owner a car like the beetle...
we all help each other out, wave at each other on the road.. like one big family... hehe
btw.. where 2 get a bigger alternator? anyone knows?

stock 3 pin is 50amps
stock single pin is about 55 amps

they do make a higher 75 amps, but not really popular in malaysia due to high price, there was a guy running it a few years back, not sure if it lasted till now though.

cost few years back was around US150 for non polish unit. Item is actually a rebuilt unit from Brazil by Bosch.

can, with a lot of ugly modifications, and not really advisable.

i strongly advise very much against it as honestly, it is a stupid thing to do.

taking a lot of risk, depending how u doing it.
