Oil Filter Magnet

It's ok..no problem. u still can take out from ur oil filter when next change. Not that strong till u can't pull out.

hi,
FYI, during last changed my Corolla A/T oil filter 3 yrs ago, i found 3 small magnets sticking at the metal filter. I do not know it is original from factory or placed by previous owner. These magnets managed to traps lots of tiny chips around its body.

Btw, how about getting a 12" subwoofer magnet and stick it under the oil pan  ? but if doing this way hav to think of how to remove the tiny chips from the oil pan at every oil change...

HDD magnet AKA earth magnet, if no HDD magnet go round asking for earth magnet, very very the strong wan the magnet power, small also strong adi, so imagine use big one, woosh :P actually never really did think about this kinda thing hor, small particles in the engine and all
ahahhahah

i had hdd magnets all this while and dunno what to do with them. thanks for the info guys.
btw i'm a computer technician

ECU, what ECU? me use carb engine :D can magnetise the whole car and still ok :P

i think no difference gua... i stick it on the top side la.. so next time easier to take it off when i wanna replace the oil filter.

Just a note... becareful where you palce the magnet as it will generate magnetic inteference... It may possibly casue issues with your ECU or other computerized boxes, sensors, etc in your car.

evo.. i have no idea if u wan to buy the aftermarket magnet... but if possible.. just use HDD magnet. Spoilt HDD can be obtained easily for a cheap price mah.. sometime even can get free.. what the heck rite?
