Check Engine Light's On

Would like to asked all the honda's owner and sifu's to help me, my car honda civic ej9 single cam vtec, what happen is when i rev up the engine and when rpm reach to or near to 5000rpm, the check engine light will on and stay on until i turn off the engine, why this happend? could anyone help me.

try check all engine socket tied or not and try check knock sensor and may be your distributor want to kong.

i used to have same problem as yours... mine happened twice... first time due to knock sensor faulty...2nd time the other sensor (can't remember what sensor was that)... after fixed, the problem resolved.
Mechanic told me that these are the 2 sensors usually get problematic in Honda Civic. This is normal...
What you have to do is just go to the workshop and check with the Honda tester connected to ECU... you will know the problem.
