Autronic ECU

Anyone using this ECU or has any experience with these Autronic ecu?

hi chris,

i have neither used nor experience autronic but from what i have read, the founder was previously from motec. it is a good ecu from what i've read amongst the uk lancer evolution community. the limitation is that it is quite car make specific ie unless you drive a more popular application car for autronic like the lancer evo, impreza, you might have difficulties interfacing it with the stock cam/crank sensor. that apart, when it does work, it works brilliantly. a bit similar to gems, who makes the aem ecu's in america. hope this helps. there are quite a few lancer evo's in kl running autronic but i know nothing of their tune quality.

andrew, as far as i know autronic only has the sm2, sm4 and smc; never heard of the sm6 nor smt. are they some new models in the pipeline?

sorry to dig out this old post.

To be more specified, what do u guys think of Autronic SMC? Recently i do have a friend who wanna let go his SMC at Sgd1000. I was thinking to get it and replace my emanage on my toyota AE111. What are the thing i need to take note?
