hi, anyone know how to mod gen 2 ?? if mod can get how many hosepower? of better change engine ? and what engine can fit in gen 2?

..the usual mods that people start with without changing the engines
are the exhaust system (extractor,bullet, middle piping and backbox) and the aftermarket air filter. yeah..you could look at the stuff speedworks does, they have some sorta ad with how much power gains you can get with their mods.. seems alrite if you're not a big budget

yeap... start of with intakes and exhausts... after that, play with ur ecu by adding on piggybacks, rechipped or change to a standalone ecu....

in long term, mayb u can save up and transplant more powerful engine...

go for Port and polish:_: then cams and adjustable pulleys.

.. though it is gonna cost you a bomb going NA with your Gen 2 engine which if is fine by you, then that's good.

but if you're looking for a better ROI, you want to consider transplanting a more powerful engine.

To be honest with you, i too drive a Gen2, at the moment, yup the only things that you can play around it for now is intake and exhaust setups. But do get your exhaust setup done properly otherwise like what others say it works the other way around. The engine actually gives quite a decent performance provided you highrev it all the time, enough said about its low end ability. However getting a good intake setup can overcome this slightly. The problem with going to speedworks is that its a bit on the high side. Some of the exhaust system's that offer by normal exhaust shops are quite decent, so you might be able to get recommendations from them. Anyways anything more that this, i:e cams and other stuff, its better to just wait and see first, as there still people experimentating on items like dastek's unichip piggyback system and OBIT piggyback system, however i know some have already use OBIT but there's still not enough numbers to justify its reliability.

Me also drive Gen.2, last year i fix AFC Select to my Gen.2. So far so good no problem but dono how much increase on HP. Need to dyno first.
