what to do when car broke down n no hazzard light?

hi all....

what to do if your car broke down in the middle of bz traffic
and when it broke down, there is no electric,
so no nothing.. no signal light, engine died, no hazzard light
what to do in this situation??



i have experience this before
but lucky me first time is near a petrol station
i just let the car roll to the petrol station..

second time and third time is when i wan to start and it just no electric like that
(no batt. light, no nothing, like battery is not connected)





so i thinking what should i do
if the stupid car broke down in middle of traffic?
should i put the 'triangle sign' in the car
and when this happens again i just wave that so other traffic user can see?

open the bonnet and boot of the car too while using the triangle... ;)

if can, get someone to help u can push to the side of the road...dont block the traffic...would be gr8 if u have the triangle single...put it at least 20ft to 30ft from ur car to serve as a warning...

use torch light to serve a warning to other motorist...also dont stand near ur car...stay behind the railing or divider....

there;s 1..i almost rear end a old school car at the traffic light there....he turn on his hazard light but not too bright, i until i wont notice of it..until comes near only i saw...there's another fella pushing the car....after i switch lane....saw the car front gone d...dunno bang wat..i think bang liao cant start so have to push....

Yeah, i'd try to get it to the side of the road. I'm sure there'll be some kind souls to help you push it.

If highway, then you might wanna think twice la. First of all, its rare to have a car breakdown in the middle of the highway. I'm sure you would have rolled the car to the side of the highway. Then get out of the car and call for some help. Never ever stay inside the car in the highway.

get someone to help push the car aside. if dun hav any signal or triangle lights, go to the nearby tree ... cabut tat bangkai pokok then put a bit far behind ur car. haha ..

the best, switch on ur small light (not the low beam) and wait far away from ur car away from the road....

i read it from somewhere... but can't remember ready... it seems the best place to be when ur car breaks down... is inside ur car... more safer it seems.. dunno where.. i heard or read... but it could be true...

if inside an old car with weak chassis (tin milo chassis) like iswara, i prefer to stand outside the car rather than sitting inside...

if a lorry come rear end u at 100kmh, ur car sure become tin sardin....

for me if something kong in my car i cry cos have to pay money to tow the car:cry_smile:
is better to roll ur car to the emergency lane if ur in the highway then call for help and wait in safe area if ur car brakedown in bc road push ur car to the side and open your trunk if u have the triangle put it 10 meter away from ur car
dont stop ur car in the middle of the road and live it there where noobs always do
it can cause anger for some other road user

so how if your car died in the middle of the road in a slow moving traffic, and its a slightly uphill road n u can't even push the car...... is the person considered a "noob" too ?
i kena b4 last time an old car , me alone, other drivers juz drove past n point at me ask me to move the car to the side ... i tried to push it myself couldn't even move ... bodoh wan show their face at me, ask me move but dunno how to come help ..

okie.....my experience; not me but someone else.....
was driving no Tun Razak flyover towards bulatan pahang.......once strating to go downhill; suddenly saw everyone from the fast lane swerve to the left lane. Was wondering what's the commtion; than only saw infront of me a car broke down. 2 man was standing mayb 5-10 feet from each other waving at traffic. 1st man was 5-10 fet from the car, 2nd man was 5-10 feet from the 1st man waving at traffic.
It's a good thng to do; but they didn't consider that the car broke down where the flyover is going downwards; so there's a blind spot. Imaging how dangerous it is for the last guy as he's the first to encounter traffic!
Lucky the road is quite pack, no jam but still full of cars.......if it's like middle of the night when ppl tend to drive faster; than most probably an accident would occur and the guys might get knocked down!
Anyway, to me; it depends on situations. Analyse the situation before taking actions.

- if all else fails.. take off yer underpants, stand at d back of yr car and wave it high up in d air
