Light on when VTEC open

I have a friend who used to drive an EK. Theres a light on the right on the dashboard which will on when the VTEC open. Any idea how to do this? Roughly how much will it cost and where can you get this done??? How about DIY-ing on a Mivec?

very easy, just need a relay, take signal from v tec solenoid valve socket..

WHat about MIVECs? I did a search and read on the net that alot failed and some had their ECUs burnt / player fused when connecting the other end to the ecu for 12v...

sure... ecu cant receive over 5v, 12v sure burnt.

use voltage regulator lor....

read the second link de... actually its the same thing rite... one end connect to the mivec solenoid... wut color shud i look at? Mine is with 4 wires, MIVEC-MD
