okie guys,as we know,the battle of k cars continue.the question is,which is more reliable?a more faster engine must not be the best engine and the slower engine doesn't mean it not as good as the other.just wanna view some comments about some these two most popular engine owners.which is faster and which is more reliable?post ur comments.maybe in god's grace,we can mix the best of both engines and create the ultimate k car monster!

LOL another hokkien thread. Neway.. as far as I know I prefer L5. Mostly cause I'm usng L5 (LOL)..

Pros
L5 Twin Cam 4 piston turbo. (Damn smooth compared to L2)
L2 Cast Iron Block (Tahan Lasak)

Cons
L5 Aluminium block (Strenght of the block is basically water cooling dependent)
L2 SOHC 3 piston (Not much electronic management compatible)

In terms of power, I think both are rather the same. L5's got a lower final drive ratio, therefore 0-400 in stock form most probably will edge out from a L2 but not by far la. I've tried dragging with a modded L2 with a hybrid turbo & me stock except with boost dialled in at 1 bar. Won by half car.

Yupe i agree...the car on the RHS surely is a lousy stock SKL local car but the one on the LHS is a true fast monster!!!!!:p
