Skyline Speed Cut Removal

Does anyone in the country have the ability/device to access the Skyline ECU and remove the lines of code for the speed cut in the factory ECU?

What an appropriate timing thread :) Exactly what I had wanted to ask. Apart from going into the ECU, will the Pivot Speed Meter X/Z work ?

I have a Defi VSD Basis that came with the car. Unsure if that already takes care of the speed cut. :retarded: There is minimal info pertaining this in the web.

Innocente, the Pivot Speed Meter and Apexi RSM can do the trick.

I'm looking at alternatives besides tricking the ECU into thinking it's going slower than the actual speed.

go the RSM/ pivot route... mapping not affected too badly. Trick is trying to set the speedcut function on the GTt tiptronic cars... can be done tho. I've tried.

HKS SLD works to overcome the speed limit...HKS FCD to overcome the factory boost cut....then u'll need SAFC to tune the computer so it does not R&R on high boost ...all in ....ur better off buying the apexi power-fc

i wonder if there is anyone selling the km/h meter that read more then 240.... i found the whole set by nismo but wonder if there is anyone that sell just the km/h, i know mine's have these meter.

things r great over here.i hv never seen those meters before but i can tell u tht the nismo one look great & they r good till 300 km/h. good to hv it since nismo gona discontinue this product.
