Proton Wira 1.3(A) + Simota Air Filter

This question might be simple, but yet my friend still 'mati akal' on how to solve this.

Few days ago he bought Simota Air Filter and installed it to his Proton Wira 1.3 (A). Now, when the car's idle, the engine will stop running.

Is it about the spark plug? Since he never change his spark plug since.. dont know. Maybe it's the combustion problem as now the airfilter is bigger than standard Wira air filter.

Or is it something more complicated?

Nope. Fuel injection. :)

Now he keep swearing all the bad words because he couldn't get the sensor into the tiny hole of the new pipe. Muahahahahah

the engine will run poorly without a correct reading from the air temperature sensor.
