Hey. Check this insane rc heli pilot.

Willie. I don't really suggest you to go buy those Rm100 to RM200 heli which is very popular in shopping centre nowadays. Those heli only has 2 channel and if you release the lift off stick, the heli will fell and nothing can do at all.
About 2 channel, 4 channel, 6 channel. Roughly say, the more channel you have, the more control you have to your heli.
Let's say that cheap 2 channel heli, what you can do to the heli is only lift off, and turn. (can say that no forward you know). You make the heli turn by controlling the speed on the rear little fan. As soon as you lift off, the heli will spin spin spin, so you need to control the speed of the rear fan to counter it. This heli will fly here and there as you controlling it. It won't stay baik baik on the air. haha. You go forward by doing a oval sideway.
If you get the 4 channel one. You can make it go front, backward, side way and it can stay in the air properly. The main fan tilted by at least 2 little servos. So, if you are beginner and have that intention to play a better one in the future. I would suggest you to take the Lama V3. The fake one cost around RM350 and original around RM420. Price is different everywhere. The original one is very very stable. No worry even playing in your living room or shopping center. haha. You can look for it in youtube.there are A lot of videos of that heli.
Those are my little bit experience. Too long la. I still more to modding cars. haha. budget is always a issue.

Edward Chew,

So basically the proper one should be at least 4 channels,
how about 6 channel, what are the extra 2 channels?
Is it possible to play 6 channels for a beginner?
I mean, wont it be hard to fly?

Woah, so its about RM300-RM400.
Is that the lowest for 4 channels?
Yeah I want a Heli that will stay still on air.
hehehehe..

Guess I wont be getting it anytime soon.

Is there any other Heli that as good as the Lama V3 that
you recommend? Personally I dont quite like the Lama design
hehehehee..

Thanks for your reply, really appreciate it.

Cheers,
Will.

Ok. About 6 channel, the price will be around RM799 to RM999. I mean those cheap one la like the lama v3. haha. A 6 channel ah, if not mistaken, you can do a back flip or even make you heli to stay still upside down. haha.
About is it suitable for beginner or not, i don't know how to answer la. I fly a 2 channel plane before, my first plane, quite big one, i crash it for the 3 times in the first trial. haha. the cockpit damage a lot. So i quickly tape it and fly again la. Until...... the cockpit totally came off. I fix it back and reinforce the cockpit but the plane hardly fly liao.
But as a beginner, take that lama v3 la although it is not nice. Because tak cantik ma, even it crash, it won't break your heart to much right??? heheheh. Use it, to make yourself learn how to control a heli first. Then only get a pretty one la. I have seen people crashing a gas heli la. Not cheap oh. The engine dam power one oh.
I went to a dealer shop last 2 weeks, they are having offer for planes and heli. Ya, those planes and heli are cheaper there but the cars and ship are more expensive than elsewhere. haha. I go look for the catalogue first, later tell u the price and picture.
If you are scared of crashing your heli before master it and not getting a stimulation disc. Give you one tip, quite a funny one. Tie your heli's landing gear on a flat table or a platform on a tiang shorter than you.Which means connecting a rope or string at the center of gravity of the heli to the table or platform. Make your heli to lift off as usual la. By doing this, you can limit the height of your heli from the ground, even you crash, at least it limits the momentum of crashing. but of course you heli will go around that area only la. First time, give it around 10cm or 15cm of the table, then increase the height as you gain skills and confidence. This is good for beginner on 4 channel or 6 channel lo. 2 channel don't need la. haha. I have seen some beginner who is practising those 30k heli using this way. haha
