Need help from sifus

hello..
just found the uncover area at the wheel area of my dc5 fclift. I can see direct to engine. Called the dealer alrdy, they claimed that the spec c type facelift come w/o cover, reason to reduce weight:hmmmm:. Have anyone got uncover area same with me?..

dunno abt dc5. But generally it's not usually that bit that they take out for weight reduction. It's usually the sound proofing thing like that tar thingy that sticks on certain panels... Also some other bits... But dunno la...

Its standard for DC5 type r regardless facelifted or not. Dunno about DC5 Type S though..
