Need advice

guys, newbie here..need some advice..i have a pair of 12inch woofers ( taken from home theatre system - AKAI ) that says its 20W 8ohm. I wann fix this in my car..i already have a box for the speakers..do i need an amp? wat kind of amp? i dont need super bass ler..just enough for me to listen enoughler..my headunit is sony 52 x 4

an amp that produce 1x50watts rms @ 4ohm?
parallel wiring gets 4ohm load.
or run them on 2x50watts rms @ 4ohm amp?
an amp that has filter for subwoofer? dunno ur woofer freq response.
ur 20watts 8ohm is in RMS or Maximum.

JUST MY THOUGHT, I BELIEVE IT CAN BE USE.

i also dunno whether rms or not.. i think its 20w rms

if the woofer is no longer needed in ur home theather.
then give it a try in the car.

i also using a home audio tweeter in car. 6ohm. running
on 50watts@4ohm. it sound alright to me. even urge to
play it with even higher power.
