MOREL COMPONENT SET

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum so need your opinion on the MOREL component set. I am staying in Kuching, Sarawak and was quoted RM1200 for a set of MOREL pulse 6. Is this reasonable price? Are the MORELs as good as it claims? Thanks in advance.

generally Morel is widely regarded as good brand. But you should do comparison of other brands in that price range. Listen then judge.

I do find that Morel is priced considerably higher than other brands. There may be better sounding brands in that price range.

Appleyard, could you please recommend me some good quality component set in the range of 1000? Iam interested in focal but dont know where to get.

Dunno abt Morel Pulse.. but Morel Elate series is quite nice but the price is a bit too high...

FOr 1k, you can get a Focal Access or if lucky, Polyglass.. 2 components I dont recommend.

But since you are stayign in Kuching I dunno where you can get CDT, DLS, Bravox components... Also look at ALpine SPX-177A comps.. should be close to ur budget.

Guys, for your info I do not have the luxury of listening to many different brand before buying as there are not many shops selling good components in Kuching. So any opinion from you guys will be most valuable. I was also looking at morel dotech 6 (RM 1800) which i think is a bit expensive.

his bro is the accessory shop beside the sekama police station.

but i dunno the Cliff Design is genuine one or not.. i guess it is. but it looks

you can find morel components at state accessories at ban hock road. you planning to get morel too? In stock they have the elate, dotech and pulse series.

If you can find CDTs in Kuching, try the CL61...they are pretty good and in my opinion, value for money, they would be in the range of 1K too I would presume.

coz most of the accesory shop selling taiwan goods. LA, the most

btw, I'm using Helix Blue only... can't afford for anything above RM500... :lol:

DLS, go to Batu Kawa... L&G has it... just now just visit there... forgot the price.. coz i see too much compo today... ahaha.

i also went to the state. saw Morel and also audit a set on the display.
quite nice... soft and clear.

morel i think is RM1300 and 2380?? not sure. DLS also around tht price.

you seem to be quite free and go aroung looking for component sets. Anyway, I heard that MEGA accessories at chong ling (jalan tabuan) there also got sell DLS. Just before new year, LA had a promotion on their infinity. All items were less 40%. they do carry infinity components set.

LA infinity is old old stock loh... ahaha... thier sub becomes yellowish colour already...

me of course free la... college life...

i'm now waiting for my fren install the amps for me only.
i've bought everything i need.. so i guess won't be upgrading
for years... ehehehe.
