lower arm+steereng rack+drive shaft+workman ship for proton perdana

feel ringan too i think. maybe because design is different. im not sure because i've never driven other perdana at that speed before. sometimes steering ringan also because of your suspension setting

Actually I also have the Same sentiment with Bro l2s..
I find the steering really weak..
Had to steer with 2 hands.

I got myself a momo steering, let me try it out

No no, what i mean is when driving high speed, my steering will feel like it's too light... like not vy stable steering grip.. when turning time is ok.. sometimes depends on the diameter of the steering, original i can turn with one hand, but now changed steering, i need 2 hands sometimes..

normally smaller steering will have the tight feel. like my momo, pusing like lorry. but with smaller steering becauase i already get used to it, so pusing 1 or 2 tangan also ok. but i usually grip 3-9 position and turn.i believe without rubbing much on the steering kinda preserve it. my ori Lifra steering already more than 11 years. still clean and naise

I know, Cos during my recent trip, I also experience similar..

That's why I wanted to change to smaller steering wheel..

But his problem is light steering feel during high speed, which might not at all related to the type and size of steering wheel, it's all linked to the suspension setup somewhere. I changed to 555 front lower arms 2 years ago and the steering feel became heavier from 0km/h. It is nice during high speed run which definitely feels heavy and better, I won't have to hold it so tight and no worry of losing control.
But sometimes it could be the misalignment of tyres that causing light steering feel.

most probably the alignment not cun.
and also maybe becoz the car is taller on the front and lower at the back (like a sampan). so the amount of air lifting the front makes the steering lighter. this happens to me when my car stock height.

Hmm let me check on this, seems you got a point there.. but alignment done, and it's the alignment guy was also telling me this...

the ngtv point of modification. sometimes kinda hard to pinpoint the exact prob because alot component changed. last time iszo do review on CAK/ stiff ring alike, so it mentioned that chasis front more tight thats y 'better' steering response. i also got stiff ring but dont feel much diff la. maybe im getting older and not so sensative hehehe.

also to address air lifting issue, did anyone installed / custom fabricate those floor pan to make the bottom more flat so airflow smoother? like those civik type AR. last time got saw someone sell it, for inSpira.

yep. got a company in malaysia custom make the undertray/engine splash shield. (forgot the name)
but they dont make it for Perdana, i already asked..

ps: remember already, brand name is Orsen

Hey, but undercarriage diffuser is only to smoothen the air flow, not reducing the airlift effect, right? I think a front lip will work better in reducing lift.

not sure if that is called undercarriage diffuser or just flat pan hahahah. smoothen the airflow thus decrease lift because streamlined. that is what i think la dun flame me hehehe

I am just wondering, the underbody bars also mess with airflow causing much turbulence. No good right?

i reckon so. but i believe the setup of your car i.e front higher than back and at higher speed, like spoiler gt wing etc, to have effect on turbulence going under your car screwing the drive. else the messed up flow should be negligible. not many exposed video on people studying the car design on the bottom side at wind tunnel

go for momo subaru feels firmer its plug & play just minor mod for the horn.

Hi bro Danz, since i just change my steering to momo subaru steering. and my horn didn't work.... how to minor modified the horn? care to enlighten and maybe where to do. i did went to auto accessory shop.... the fella didn't know how to do... they ask me to change to momo evo 3 or 4 steering.... dang!!!
