Low top speed 97' coupe

I recently bought a 2nd hand 97' coupe but the top speed is very low. The lower arm bushing has its problems but i will get it repaired soon. My question is, what can i do to increase my top speed. The engine is pretty old with 200,000++km. Planning for a new heart for my car but want some advice with its current engine. Dont have money for a new heart now. Need some help and advice from the experts. THANKS!

Was planning on a 4g63T in the future. But for now need to improve current engine first :( Any ideas?

change to drop k&N air filter. Change to better perfomance exhaust set up. 15' rims.
