Wahh...nobody here mention that when you buy tint from 'tint shop' they let you choose what tint you want for front windscreen...bcoz jpj regulation sez that must have 70% visibility...i took solargard RM550 for side & back, then they give v-kool for front..forget what model...i say that i 'kabur' drive at night..hehehe

Change to what color? Is it a security film?

Is not a security film.Is a normal film like VKool. Price cheaper than VKool Elite. 3M Crystalline 70 is smtg new tat i've seen so far compared to other brands. Wat i mean can change color is tat the color of the glass looks diff in the morning,under the sun & the evening. Technology kinda like Autocolor 2K paint but is the films tat reflects diff color under diff daylights...

Front windscreen and rear windscreen cannot stick safe tint film. Due for the thickness, it so difficult to drive because will cause double image.. Because I had experience on this.. I just tint Safety film for Rm1.8. I tint 4 door, front and rear windscreeen.. End up, the front windscreen safe tint removed and replace with other.. It so difficult to drive especially at night.

Hey guys is it right to have security tints like LLumar to be used on the front windscreen? It makes correct sense for the other side and rear screens. But the front one? I could think of the cons only. Everything concerning safety.

From what i know, there's 2 reasons why the front windscreen don't use security tint.
1. Most modern car has got laminated glass front windscreen
2. Security tint is usually thick, therefore view might be distorted

Hi Guys...

Vkool also now got security + Heat rejection tints mar.. i just put on my Honda City... RM1400 for all mirrors... Expensive but so far its very good in terms of heat rejection :D

cant say anything bout the security wise yet coz i wont be trying to break my own mirrors xD lol

but as seen on the pics displayed at their office, it looks good :)

but im still not sure compared to Llumar.. hmmm
