well, i tried finding job in jobstreet , but too many ppl applying for the same job, so if you are looking for jobs, better try Star Sat copy, u have a better chances...

My first ,my second and current job was from jobstreet .....
I dont know how are u actually applying but just incase :
1. Make sure ur id / account is authenticated ... u need to mail them ur photocopy of your id and account info ...there is actually a link there to do this
2. Make sure ur resume is good .... I have got the same complain from a lotof my friends that have tried to apply jobs ..... actually there is a higher chance for you to score if you have some experience.... if your fresh then its really hard ...
3. This is my trick to get a joblah ... so cannot gerenti it will work for you ...must tipu tipu sikit and cannot follow straight line .. its too competitive out there so have to pandai main.... First try to find out the details of the job ...then betul betul study what they want ..( technology wise ) would be easier if its IT related job ... get the name of the company any of your friends are working currently .... Put in one of ur really really kapit lecturers name as a refference and the other ..give ur friends hp number and put him as ur supervisor in the company he is working..... then give urself one year experience .... if they ask u how ..even when u have just graduated ...tell them u were actually working part time and ur classes are at night...... so if the call any one of your refference its still people who are close to you who will be doing the talking .... so ask them to put a good word for u ...... Now the trick is , you have got to know ur stuff ( if you tell them u know something make sure at your have some basic knowledge how it supposed to work ) ...
After that its just luck ..... anyways thats how I got my first job.

If you are a fresh grad and thought that you could learn things when ur working ...then in my humble opinion I think you have made the wrong choice...... The job market is too competitive and there are seriously very little room for people who only now want learn about the job.... Should have done this in college or uni ....

as my exp, in some interview for a few company..not much chance to getting a job in jobstreet..
.eventho u hv a high qualification..
they will compare u to other person..who will same apply on the job..
of course, try not to choosy on the job and ur salary..
if u was the lucky chosen one..they will lower down ur salary..was wat ur expected on the first..
that wat i exp on jobstreet job before...
i got mostly of my interview appointment when i was seeking for job from ITmyjob.com and also jobsdb.com.. de rest is more where i search from newspaper classified such as malay mail and star paper.. jobstreet has a very large database and depends on ur luck to get thru.. for me jobstreet onli called me once and sort off interview me thru phone thats all den no news liao... ehhehehehehe.. :D

HIghly reckon jobstreet,found my current job from there.They are quite efficient though when i went for the hsbc first interview at jobstreet office.
few points or advices for those who apply job in jobstreet.
1. Always use the wizard that jobstreet provide to complete your resume. (This is very important)
2. Straight to the point, just mention your professional skilset, and make your resume short, tidy and easy to read. Don't fill up your funny tool skill which is not job related like Microsoft Word, Excel (Do you think I care all this Office shit if I want to hire a programmer?)
3. Hightlight 1 or 2 important projects you did in the past. (for fresh grad, write down your finaly year project or the most "gemilang" project you can thought of, don't write small project like "My first Pascal project" just for the sake of filling up the space.)
4. DO NOT BULLSHIT in your resume! You are wasting yours and interviewer time.
5. Always upload your BEST photo in the resume.
6. Don't simply submit your application!
7. Stated down any job promotion or award you got.
8. Fax your IC to jobstreet to certified your info if possible.
9. Always update your resume! Some tends to submit out of date resume.
Reason behind why I advice you all to complete the Jobstreet resume wizard is because, there is a rating system in jobstreet. Each and every resume submitted to the employer will appear with a resume rating and by default, the applicant is sort by the rating number in decending order. From 100, 99, 98 to 0. By completing the jobstreet wizard, it tends to give you higher score.
Imagine, 300 applicants apply for a position, do you think the HR or interviewer will read every single applicant? I don't think so. In my practise, I'll only go throught first 20 candidates (unless I'm really desperate to look for someone), sometime i don't even bother to read those resume with less than 85 in their resume rating.
Jobstreet do offer "Priority Application" with a fee. Up to certain level, your application will catch the eye to the interview picker (with highlight), this features make your application very eye catching. Of course, if your resume suck you will still screw up the entire thing, but at least ppl will read your resume first. :D
Believe me, a photo will help, and a GOOD photo will help a lot.And Please DO NOT submit a web cam photo! I really doubt how professional you are with a web cam photo quality! Spend some money to take a passport size photo in the sutdio, scan it and upload it to your resume
I'm not bias, but if I have 2 resume with the same qualification in hand, 1 with photo and the one without the photo, I' ll tends to call the resume with photo attached for interview. In certain level, if shows that you are more sincere to get the job compare with the 1 without photo.
Some applicant tends to click "Submit" button to do mass resume submission, some can even submit 20-30 applications in a night.
BAD move. In your resume rating or ranking, it will stated how many application rejection you had in the past. :D And I always try not to call those ppl (with high rejection rate) for interview, because ppl reject you for a reason, isn't it?
