how to remove Tar Stains?

its very irritating esp. in front of the car........till now i still dunno howta get rid of it......worse, as time goes by, it accumulates more n MOREEEEEee

sooner or later my kar gonna look like a sick patient :lol:


any solutions/cleaners dat wont damage the paint? :ph34r:

thanx for da info, ..............but waxing da whole car takes quite some time n lotsa work.....n it will take some thin layer of paintwork off rite?

I'm not sure about this .. I think if you really wanna get rid of those tar stains .. you need to check your car every twice a week .. like my front lip, already everywhere with tar stains .. I bring my car to car wash centre .. they only managed to remove about 70% of it .. there will be alot of work to do too.

leave it for 90-120 secs, re spray and wipe off with rag!

WD 40 is just oil... after wiping.. just wash of with soap and flush it with water....

I used to use one... it's from AMWAY... bloody good stuff... it's called tar and bug remover... somemore got nice orange fragrance... get hold of that ... WORKS!!!

I travels a lot and sometimes i heard from my friends that you can use 'yau si' (i think it mean diesel) to clean up. Doesnt even need to rub.. it will come off once you lap with diesel.. i havent tried b4.. but i guess their method is like 'yi tok kong tok' type. Clean oil stuff with another type of oil.
