HKS EVC in Learning Mode

Hi Sifu,

I have a HKS EVC-3 boost controller. I dare not run it in learning mode in afraid of detonation.

If I run it in learning mode, Until how many psi will it go if my OEM wastegate is set at 10 psi.?

in learning mode, your engine would not blow
the learning mode is actually to learn your stock boost from your stock actuator pressure.
once it has learn your stock boost, then u can only set your desire boost from there.
so be sure to reset the EVC goes into learning mode, set the stock boost, and set your desire boost.
that's it.
