Help..Detomaso Engine

Hi all Big Brother
Recently I'm convert my Daihatsu Ascend 1.6Efi Auto to Detomaso Engine 1.6 Auto as well...
after convert...i face some problem with the pick up issue, and i need some more experien guy to help me ...thanks first..
Problem
1. I'm try the pickup, so far no different with my previous engine performance. but reach to top speed got improve. Got something wrong with my engine in the pick up?
2. Right now i'm using the original exhause in my car, should I change it?

I prefer the low fuel comsume

auto tranny feeling are a bit slumpy
change exhaust will cause fuel consumption to raise
if choose the wrong setup
but a wise calculation of choosing system
will lead a good consumption
