Has any guy or girl ever felt regret for not investing enough in a relationship?

I mean when that person first come into your life you can't really make out what is it all about, is it a good thing or a bad thing?

You would continue and let it see where it gets you or try to avoid that person as hanging out with that person cramps your style.

Like getting to know someone from online world years ago, send picture let you see. You see nothing special, a normal looking girl bordering on porkchop-ness. Then when you finally meet after a few years pass, whoah grow up to be leng lui oredi, the way she talk and dress also different. Regret or not? :lol:


Serra - if u reading this, this is not about you. was cleaning up my computer and found old pictures of friends, whoah some last time look so kiddie or unpretty now very pretty. So got idea for a topic. How can regret about stupid girls in my past when I got you :lol: *hugz*

took me quite a while to track back my primary life...

come to think of it...there's this one girl i had a crush on when i was std 6
hmmm...it's been quite a while now aledi...i think got 4 years++ since i last saw her...
I wonder how does she looked like now *hmmmmmmmm*

Ah... No regreats when Didn't see my crush... But when she comes back to penang sometimes and I meet her again... aiyoh... heart filled with regreats...

Never ever underestimate how gals look, especially thru photos. Some are not photogenic but some are.
Ah.... anyway, beauty is skin-deep. My wife is so ugly that only her parents and me can love, niah. :P
 
No regrets in not investing but regrets in total screw ups.

List of screw ups:
1) My ex. She was a looker, not the hourglass figure type...more the tall waif model like. But she's got stunning facial features. Courted her in no time (2 weeks methinks). Fucked up the relationship in record time as well (for me at least), 6 months. Fucking regret. I haven't done anything naughty to her yet!!!!!!!!!

2) Combo entry. More or less the same case with a few girls during different periods. A bit younger, back in secondary school. I was very naive and very innocent (yes I was, don't laugh). They had a crush on me. Both were cute. I kept avoiding them for reasons I cannot understand nowadays. What the hell was I thinking?!?!

Both cases led me to think I am an absolute idiot and I regret it to this day. I should be shot. :rolleyes:

in sec school, i also dunno why i avoided one girl...but now she damm chun liao...
since her sister and my sister are friends, she recently came over to my house one night to have a sleepover. DAmm...didnt get to makan :ph34r:

no point sulking over spilled milk rite? :lol:

no wor, reached home already 8:30pm... haih, work work work...

then came back, nap awhile, woke up, makan bak kut teh, then watched Ella Enchanted halfway... then teman my friend Solitaire Showdown on MSN, hahaha! :lol:
 
I did for 2 years. We met at a camp on the last day and clicked really well. Had to work up some courage to call her. After a few calls she said she liked this guy she met at a party during Christmas. I got really disappointed and didn't call her for 2 months.

The next thing I knew, she had a boyfriend already. And 2 months after that, I realized that we had the camp DURING Christmas!!! Forgot how many times I bang my head against the wall already.

But now, after getting to know her much much better (one of my best pals now) and I've found someone who can make me as happy as I make her (lurrrrveeee...is a many splendoured thaaanggg...), I've stopped thinking about the "If I only had...", for it never had any meaning in the first place.

What's done is done; no point regretting and waste time thinking about the what ifs. Just make the best out of what you have now (or work hard towards having one *koffalankoffkofftankoff*) and create the happiest memories you can to carry on for the rest of your life. Ever heard the song "Think of Me" off the soundtrack for The Phantom of the Opera?
