hi,
kindly need some advise due to my car handling problem...im driving toyota vios bought new last year...after 1st time change to new front tire start to feel something not right...when reach to 80km/h above start to move left to right...can feel it at straight way...last time even i drive to 140km/h handling is smooth with single handed...i tried yesterday to drive on highway and when reach around 120-140km/h it become worst...luckily im not had an accident...i know my car is still under warranty but my SC sucks...so i decided to go back to the shop that change my tire for alignment...after that it still the same...my car gone like snake...my knowledge about car is so limited...please give some advise...thanks...:confused:

steering rack bush??
try to ask a friend to look at the steering rack while you twist the steering around...
see whether there's any movement...:idea:
 
try check the cold gas pressure for all tyres.make sure all are in right spec 1st.then u need to rebalance the rim & tyre.usually pulling & steering vibration is smth to do with the tyre pressure & balancing.

glad problem resolved bro..and now you know not to return to the previous shop...kadang2 this tire shop ppl hire inexperience, sometimes even kids as workers..
 
yup....i kena 2times where package when buying new tyre....

yeah free alignment....but the work not satisfied enough...so have to redo at another place....working great....

so now i'll just change tyre without caring about those free alignment package given.. :driver:

bro, mind sharing where u did ur alignment n balancing? at least we can make a list of place NOT TO GO for alignment n balancing..... haha...:idea:
 
Yea, I always believe that the first thing to check when such problem occurs would be the alignment and balancing. Then only start looking into other areas.

Thanks bro...maybe im just kinda worry to much...even suddenly little sound came out somewhere make me worry...and i'll search for it for days...hehehe...:nurse:
 
Bro kat mana alignment yg ok tu? KL ke? mintak address gak.

Saya rasa handling tak sedap gak, baru pas balancing alignment jer, rasa cam steering tak balas ke tempat asal bila corner. Ape sebab ye?

Baru lepas tukar lower arm kat kedai sama tu, nape bila corner still steering tak pegi centre?

bila last time tuka power steering fluid? i kena like yours before due to my power steering fluid became too thin, i put new fluid & problem solved

definitely u must not wait until 4 years like i did before:laugh:, i learned it the hard way, i would say u should change it every 2 years just to be on the safe side
 
Tumpang thread...

my car steering vibrate when i go past 100km/h. I have tried aligment & balancing (front 2 tyres).
The problem is there. the tires gas pressure is correct.

what else could it be?
