A simple search found out the Smart Fortwo and Dodge SRT also have similar problem...and Mazda 3/Ford...

Also you should revise the question to,"what other engine falls/drops, when only 1 engine mounting fails?".

And how useful your post is? I consider engine falling also achievement, but sadly Proton is not the only one as pointed out by you. So I thought of other achievements by Proton.

I guess unlike you, I think positively, you just thinking everybody is out to bash only. Here's news, not everybody is like you so what you think doesn't apply.

So as per your suggestion I asked, what other engine drops/falls when 1 mounting fails, no answer.. only more useless posts from you. Thanks for your contribution and information!

Already changed the new bracket include bolt + rubber mounting Rm195..and fix it myself..is it the normal price?

replace the mounting BRACKET..mounting is not weak. the bracket when subjected to torque on a regular basis..might just snap and fail.

for RM195 sounds pretty normal..

same happen to my gf car last 2 week..the gearbox side mounting bracket koyak..happen on sunday..so no sparepart shop open at my place..call pomen weld back the bracket..the bracket just thin metal only..no wonder can koyak like that

ughh.. thats bad.. hm.. got pic of the bracket?
maybe can weld extra metal to reinforced the bracket?

my previous car, pomen weld extra 2 'L' brackets at body mounting point (usually crack there) before transplanting higher power engine.
i hid it with epoxy putty, smooth it and spray the engine bay.. puspakom PASS..
