di-electric grease used?

hey all please specify in your answer how much grease is optimum and where to apply it. Of particular interest is its use when changing spark plugs in a vehicle. Other automotive uses are also appreciated.

Haven't heard much ppl using this thing unless they have advanced voltage issue or they'd suffered hard time pulling out the cable before this.. Usually they apply on the top insulator of spark plug and plug wire's boot. (Just like using KY)
