of course you can. its quite a simple plug and play actually, especially if you already have a K20A3 inside.

Seen a fd1 with k20a from integra for sale in motortrader. Complete transplant. Doable. Like any other transplant, have to do it correctly at the 1st place, and it should be reliable.

can. among others that i've seen:

ES and FD should be no problem. everything is transferable.

yup. both those chasis have had variations of the K20A engine in them.

so the Type-R shouldnt be a problem to drop in.

as long as the swap is done right, there should be no issues.

Everyone keep saying plug and play.. But the real thing is its totally different. Yes you can put dc5r engine to fd1, but a lot of thing need to be done. You have to modified some engine n gbox mounting (by fabricate bracket). And you need to use dc5r dshaft and brembo. And the wiring for dashboard are not possible to use fd2r meter. AND for suspension too...

dc5r is K20a engine right? should be able to convert, but don't think is plug & play. definitely require engine or gbox mounting fabrication as per jeheyr statement
