hmmm...the singapore corolla is the jdm corolla right? I heard there is a 1.8 4wd corolla version in japan. The singapore corolla use what engine? Same as the altis?

i did saw a 4wd 1.6 corolla. But my fren said it's underpower.

its either a Ceres of Sprinter Marino.. to my knowledge they're all 4 doors. comes standard with 4AGE 20V. dont think they're in the "Corolla" family; in the name sense of course.

i saw a lot of this model in miri. sometimes at the back got ceres,marino and sometime sprinter, but until now i don't know what engine they r running.btw,my brothers friend is driving this car

They are not 4WD if i am not mistaken. But they come with 1.8 twincam engine. 7AFE. rare engine.

By the way, Sprinter Marino or Corolla Ceres are all AE101. They are actually parallel release to AE101 Levin/Trueno

Most equipped with 4A-FE 16V and some 4A-GE 20V - mostly Auto. Dashboard all look exactly like Levin/Trueno AE101

Lots of them in Nagoya Japan area, Russia and South Africa.

I have to admit they look a bit more "Advanced" compared to our basic Corolla AE101

And yes, specially for JDM release Corolla does have 4WD model...even Corolla Altis type in Japan have 4WD option hahahaha

i prefer our current corolla look. :) it pleases me that not ALL overseas model that never made it to msia are better looking or more desirable than wat we already have. the Ceres and Marino are abit bulky looking. :) but thats just me.

Bulky? I think they all have the same base with levin 101, except for the extra 2 doors.... :(

It's a Corolla Ceres. Which means Ceres belongs to Corolla family tree, same like Marino to Sprinter linage. Or even better same like Altis belongs to Corolla.
