Conversion: Accord 2.0 SM4 Carb Manual to Auto

Hi,
My father is driving this Accord 2.0 SM4 carb and due to his age, he decides
to go easy and wants to switch to automatic.
How much does the tranny cost and conversion cost (separate pricing if can)
and where to find reliable re-con automatic transmission? Afraid of auto
tranny just failing after few months later (I`ve read horror stories of Wira
1.6XLI auto tranny failing fast)
I`ve sat in one (SM4 carb)..and it`s still quite powerful even driven hard.

Yeah, another thought in mind: Can this SM4 fit newer generations of
Accord`s automatic transmission (Is it Accord SV4, the model after SM4?).
Want a taller final drive ratio for better fuel economy, cause present manual
transmission makes the engine revs quite high.

If possible, hows the FC like?

i myself driving sm4 for travelling n work purpose, local model...my advice would be just go n buy one recond sm4 halfcut f20b 2.0 dohc with auto n do full conversion. i did that n njoy driving it

ur father will sure love the torque n save a lot of $$ on auto tranny conversion plus sm4 with carb single cam gave a lot of problem!!

mellon, u running on f20b? that's from the cf4 sir for the tiptronic.

mine r from sm4 jdm ...it might be my mistake (f20b )but is a twincam
