Sorry newbies here...
I want to put a straight through exhaust.. But now market doesnt have exact fit for airtrek..
So planning to buy a 2nd hand 1..

But saw the original extractor pipe 'U' shape....
How ar ?

You said extractor, does it mean exhaust manifold? Usually exhaust manifold isn't labeled as "straight thru exhaust".

Probably you mean muffler where the original box is positioned horizontally. I am using straight flow (N1 type). Cut away the bend and direct connect straight out the the N1 box.

Haha... Ya ya muffler ... Sorry ya... Haha
Thanks for the detail picture .... Nice exhaust

So I can buy any size, then weld it ar?

If your car is stock, it's advisable not to go too big with the piping. Staying stock is completely fine.

In fact for my car, I am using stock evo parts with 2.5". Unless you go for TD06 and high-cam + agressive tuning, then you will benefit 3".

does this size really can affect the performance especially for turbo engines? bcos i saw some guys use 3" pipe for stock rvr engine..

when we tok bout exhaust,na or turbo is the same.turbo is a speedup na tats all.
intake n exhaust is based on your cam lobe...
