CAI on waja

anyone did custom cold air intake to waja b4.. need some suggestion from u guy...coz my car now very damn no power...coz using open pod k&n and didnt have heatshield...so the power were lose to much compare to stock ...

i have the same problem as you do. it seems that there is no way to put a cold air intake hose in the waja after fixing the open pod. even the guys at n1 couldn't do it.

should've used a drop in filter and continued using the original CAI design. It's quite effective.

The exact topic has been discussed already, in DIY Garage. If you don't have proper heat shield and CAI, u will end up losing power. Some more, Waja already has well design CAI by lotus, any extra thing done on the same purpose might end up worst if u don't over design the original CAI and intake.

hey guys... yesterday i have change my k&n open pod filter to stock air filter already..
guest wat .... power are better than b4 which tht time is using open pod filter...but can't hear anymore of the 'garang' sound of the filter.kekeke i mean when the air was suck into the enjin..kekeke:p

If you want to hear it a bit, then cheapest way is to take a screw driver and start poking holes through the original filter (the filter element itself not the box! haha) :p.

those drop-in filters also emit some sound btw.

bcz waja is using siemens..that why it wont help much if open pod filter.

nah....It's not working because the open pod keep suck in hot air, u feel better power after putting back the original filter box because it is using waja original CAI mar...which is sucking cold air, definitely colder air.

by the way... can i use back the air ram tht sambung to the open pod filter b4...coz now all my air filter all are stock...can use back the stainless steel air ram or not ? kinda noob here

my wira (siemens) also using open pod lar...thn aslo no power but got sound only. Thn i put heat shield, thn okie lioa....i mean the fuel and power of the car back to normal lar. b4 that my car no power somemore damn fast my fuel gone...
