Blow Off

Helo, I just came across something which I have wanted to know very long ago...

Why cars like Evo or Wrx... When their boost comes n change gears, we can hear the sound from the blow-off valve... It is because they are turbo-charged engines right??

As far as i know, Volvo S40 also turbo-charged engine isn't it? Why they dont have blow-off valve sounds ar?

stock blow off no sound....if got also very very very the soft....shoot me if im saying something wrong

All stock turbo cars from factory do not have BOV sound... just that owners mod them.

My VR4 halfcut with stock BOV produce almost no sound (because it is plumb back to intake).

In reality, those pesky BOV sound are very annoying...
