my car's battery warning light will appear on the speedometer sometimes when im driving. it isnt suppose to right? what could be the problem?

i think ur alternator going to die.
it cannot charge ur battery properly.
have them check asap.

try to jump start ur car with other's battery then unplug the positive cable,c whether the engine will still running.

if yes,change battery
if not,go find an alternator & battery

nahh...did some research just now...apparently that battery warning light has nothing to do with weak battery at all. ahah. made me wonder for a while cos i just change my battery beginning of the year. yeap alternator is most probably at fault. not enough charge

or it could be just the alternator belt.

is there any squeeking or squeeling noises coming from the engine bay?

i'd rather have a defective battery than a faulty alternator.

for rare model cars, alternators can be a b***h to source.

sometimes the alternator just need new carbon brush. i diy mine. only cost ~rm3 for the carbon brush.

then reassemble back.

im checking the alternator why it isnt charging my batt.
actually the main cable (+ve) from alternator to batt disconnected (melted).
since already removed the alternator, i just go on inspect it and change the brush.
