Audi A6 with multi spark discharge

I installed a multi spark discharge on my A6, and it works perfectly, but one of my friends told me that it will lead side-effect to my car. I dont meet any problem till now. Any bro can give advice?
I am advised to install this device by my colleague, and he also install one on his BMW.

no I don't, wont even think of installing any gadgets on my beemer as scared might screw up the electronics.
