Looks find to me, may be to cater cars with tiny front space but slanting the intercooler to fit?

Looks like a ready made/pnp kit thus it will use the easiest route.

If put lower there will be too much cutting to make way for the intercooler and piping.
Furthermore the ladder frame chassis is down there thus longer piping needed.

Water fountain everytime the driver let off the throttle or change gear.

That turbine does not seems out of place on a Scania engine.
