13B Rebuild Kit

Where can i buy a rebuild kit for 13B/12A and how much will it cost???

i saw one on the net for $800 USD~(RM3200) for this price i can a halfcut

is there any other way to rebuild without buying a rebuild kit??

hi there,

the price you stated is bout right. Remember when you rebuild the engine is basically back to spec. Whereas the halfcut is like a timebomb coz you really dunno whats the engine been fed with in terms of oil/mantainence/necessary tlc etc. I would suggest you rebuild.

Are you needing to or planning to rebuild your engine? Do you have a 13B or a 12A or are you thinking of putting a rebuilt rotary in your car??

My mate and I have rebuilt almost 10 FD / 13B engines now for workshops, individuals and more recently a mate out of Singapore.

Give more info and maybe we can help / advise you better.

[/b][/quote] i am thinking of getting a 13B which i saw near my house. the mechanic said that the engine is bringing out smoke. i am thinking of getting it and rebuilding it then later put it in an old Mazda. any tips?
