TUFOIL - How much fuel can you save?

With petrol at about RM 7.20 per gallon and every likelihood that it may be more costly in the future, we would like to gauge in this mini survey your fuel savings with the use of Tufoil.

A 5% - 10% fuels savings can be considered remarkable as this offsets fuel price increases.Is Tufoil giving you more or no savings at all?

Let us hear in this thread from Tufoil users if the reduced engine friction and enhanced engine efficiency promotes fuel economy under Malaysian motoring conditions.
 
i've used tufoil for the past 3 months+, drving a kelisa, yes it's indeed very smooth, but dun seem to help on the fuel consumption, it's the same. i'm more to urban driving.
 
I used Tufoil for quite sometime. I think around a year or so. The first thing I aware after I put it in is the water temp meter drops a little bit. Then, I do not felt anything until I pump the third tank of fuel..The car run smoother and respond is much much more better. I told most of my friends and they dun trust it. However, they tried and now they are the tufoil user as well. Lotsa ppl I heard using other brand of engine treatment do not felt anything or just a little bit of changes ( maybe psychological respond).

But for tufoil u will definately feel it.

About the fuel saving, Last time my car can runs about 410-430kms pertank ( urban) and highway about 600kms. After Tufoil, easily can reach 480-500kms urban and about 700kms for highway. Btw, i am driving an old junk camry 2.2 and this fella telan petrol quite a bit...

I personally highly recommend Tufoil..

Whether Tufoil saves you petrol or not, the proof is on the exhaust tailpipe. Did anyone notice that after using Tufoil for a week or so, your car's tailpipe has very little carbon? Carbon means unburnt petrol and it is expensive petrol wasted.With every drop of petrol wasted, you simply get a smaller bang in the cylinder head. You could get a little more horsepower if all petrol is completely combusted. When tailpipes are dirty, what do you expect? A clean cylinder head? It's back to grind valve time, folks.
 
i went back n forth to melaka today
i put rm35 only on the tank coz it still got i think ard rm10 of fuel
the first trip to melaka speed average 140km/h
second trip back on the same day average a bit more around 150-160km/h

i only used i think
rm 32 only on the fuel...
drive during the day
so aircond 50%-50%
 
i think it does save the fuel part
but stil u have to avoid stop and go style
i would strongly recomm. u guys to try it

At 140-150kph full time, this isn't the speed that saves fuel.In fact, the fuel consumption actually worsens. The ideal speed for intended fuel savings is 80-90kph. But at this speed you get " nyantuk" and may just want to take bus instead of driving. Anyway, it is great to hear that Tufoil works for you. Check your tailpipe. It cannot be black anynore.

Five years ago, our Tiara travelling at 90-135 kph from KL to Muar, a distance of about 115 miles needed only RM 9 of petrol. It was really unbelievable to say the least.

Looks like we can never get zth members to drive slowly. Their blood group is certainly type "R". Even senior citizens using Tufoil in their Mercedes and Lexus drive above 150kph outstation.It must be the thrill as they say " shok". Without engine friction, one just let go. It's full throttle! This reminds me of a Mercedes owner when driving at 195kph on the road still makes a call on his mobile phone to give the thumbs up for Tufoil. Phew!!

Regardless of all this, Focal Point encourages you to stick to the speed limit and follow all traffic rules.
 
Still, Tufoil is the least commercial of all this kind of products.But it works and gives a lasting impression. It is already 10 years in the Guinness Book of Record. Do we need to say more?
 
Today, it's RM 8.64 for a gallon of petrol, an increase of 18.5% overnight. This is close to what American drivers are now paying.

What can be done to offset the price increase again and again and again? There is a thread under car care where somebody asked members to put their heads together and maybe find a way of getting more from that gallon of petrol. This guy is to be saluted for suggesting the many possibilities and areas where his car may derive more km for the amount of fuel spent. He asked for opinions and ideas from those who are able to save petrol.

Even a 5% fuel savings from the use of Tufoil helps to a certain extent.If you spend RM 400 on petrol per month, that is a savings of RM 20. Two months and it's RM 40. Outstation, it's certainly very economical when there is Tufoil in the engine.

fren, mind share with us, what type of engine oil lubricant that u use mixed with tufoil?

Been using tufoil with Motul....either Motul 2000,4100,6100,8100 or 300v, all showed marvelous results...

My lingam opinion..

The other day one senior citizen with a Honda City claimed that on RM 60 of petrol he could get 600 km for a trip from KL to Penang. This works out to be some 54 miles per gallon (mpg)!!

However for local town driving he could only get about 28 mpg for his automatic City. This guy has known Tufoil for some 20 years and is a regular Tufoil user.

Honda City owners, can you share some experience about fuel consumption, please?
 
I've been using Tufoil for the past 1 year after i purchased a used SXV10 Camry running with the sluggish 5S-FE 2.2L engine. Before i use Tufoil, the engine sounded like bloody diesel engine during idling but after 3 bottles of Tufoil change...... the sound reduced significantly.

I got better mileage per-tank & smoother acceleration since this particular Camry well known for its "sluggishness". I would say it's a fuel guzzler as well where it drinks petrol like a fish. Sticking with Tufoil all this 1 year period & saved on my monthly petrol expenses. Very happy with Tufoil & recommended to most of my friends even my business clients as well.
 
New Straits Times's Sunday April 4, 2010 supplement CARS, BIKES AND TRUCKS tested Tufoil on a Perodua Kembara. According to the tester/writer, the fuel savings was " 10-15% ".

When American magazine POPULAR MECHANICS officially tested Tufoil is was 10.3%. Quite close indeed!

Surprisingly after so many many year...I think close to 6 years and after owned and change few cars, I am glad that I am still a Tufoil user...LOL...:)
