I think if you put two cars that has supercharged and the other turbo on track. One windy roads, supercharge rules but on straight line, turbocharge kicks in and goes better. Thats why rally some cars still use supercharger![]()

nowadays, turbo charger also can function like supercharger. just depend on how u tune it. plonk in not so big turbo with a bit higher compression ratio, the engine will rev not so high (maybe around 5500-6000rpm only) and u'll feel the boost from 1500rpm with very linear torque curve. (see golf GTi, Audi, or 335i engine) put in bigger turbo, a bit lower compression ratio, the engine may rev higher with very high bhp. may lag in low rpm but once the boost come, u may drive in longkang if u cant handle it. 1st u must know how much traction ur car have (either FWD, RWD or 4WD), and ask professional tuner tune your turbo accordingly. NA, supercharger or whatever sure eat dust. my opinion only..![]()
it just gave me a
on my face ~Aiyaaa... why the dilemma now? Use variable geometry turbocharger you can get almost instant boost from low end and still have good pulling at high end. Supercharger is bad for the environment.

i think it's VW Scirocco that has twincharger (supercharge + turbo)

oh i see.. can you explain why.?![]()

Any engine will produce Carbon Monoxide.. NA, Supercharge or Turbo.. and it's harmful to d environment.. no need to argue on that..
get a Catalyc Converter.. and it will convert Carbon Monoxide to Carbon Dioxide..
read all about it here
Catalytic converter - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
if you get it your car will loose power la
