Thanks for the info seventh_son. But still thinking which one is better in maintanance and fuel cosumption? I mean lower budget la..What about Evo 5? Do u think it's Ok?

Maintenance-wise should be same as the engine (except turbo) & drivetrain are basically of the same specs. For reference, my previous evo4 (bought when mileage was 60K and sold at 160K - used for 3 years) incurred the following repair jobs :

ignition coil - RM1300++
water pump - RM800++
starter motor - recond - RM300++
leaking head gasket - sold off before repair
(prices not inclusive of labour)

All these are on top of the regular maintenance. General rule, for higher mileage evos, chances of incurring repair bills on wear and tear items are higher.

got one TME 6.5 at JLN klang lama 2nd hand car dealer going for rm148k neg (99/00) ....havent view it

any of u guys know the condition of the car? it was advertised in M.Trader

most likely registered and possibly a converted evo6. correct me if i'm wrong, TME only came into production in 2000 (?)
