Anybody get Rashes??!!

If I remember correctly, their 'bulu' can shed and get airborne. I myself dunno how to explain. Any insect enthemologist around?

MK84, u r rite.. I found this article below:
http://www.mja.com.au/public/issues/175_12_171201/balit/balit.html

Below is a remedy
Most effective was topical aspirin paste, with improvement within hours. Topical aspirin has previously been reported to be effective for histamine-induced rash.13 The paste is made by adding a few drops of water to a soluble aspirin tablet and applying it to the affected area. A topical preparation containing lignocaine offered some symptomatic relief but did not shorten the duration of symptoms.

A topical hydrocortisone cream produced no noticeable change.

I think the doctor gave me the hydrocortisone cream because later I asked the nurse if it's antibiotic cream, she said it's called hydrocortisone cream.

ulat bulu is the ulat with bulu. best example is you stand in front of mirror, drop your pants and underwear, you can see one ulat bulu there. but be careful, sometimes the ulat bulu can spit back at you one. :o :D

i think i know already...

those ppl at C2 were definitely spat on by 'ulat bulu' ...

didn't know C2 is so 'happening' man... :D
when i was there in 2001 and 2002... no such happenings... hehehh

bigboystoys, I also been to Sepang F1 many times.. and only started to get the rashes last year and this year.

Last year I thot I was allergic to the sunblock lotion. So this year I decided not to put sun block and yet kena rashes... sigh...

Yup... C2 pretty happenning. Can see turn 9, F Stand, back straights and tower corner.

hey, i'd like to add myself to the statistic of the mysterious rash.
same as some of you mine didnt appear till night time, after taking a bath and scrubbing myself clean. i woke up itching like crazy and when i got ready for work i tot i got measles or something... till now my marks are still red and itchy in my inner arm mostly some on my body and some on my legs.

i definitely wont be watching next year, well not at C2 maybe. and I wont be recommending any of my friends as well to buy C2.

this foreigner working in malaysia is pissed off.

so many people kena i dont think its the pesticide lah. quite possible its the ulat bulu. i guess their bulu is like the bamboo's. if any of you ever tried chopping down or touching a bamboo tree with the hairs then you would know. slight contact with skin and you itch like hell.

is there a website for SIC or email we can complain to?

Pop a few anti histamin and say bye bye to ur itch. Go get it at ur nearest pharmacy.

I could also be allergic to anti-histamin lah.. sigh..

I was also feeling the itch after the F1 at the hillstand. Thought it was ants or something.

Man, we are VERY, VERY lucky to just get rashes. I personally saw one poor chap who got bitten by a CENTIPEDE :o The thing was like at least 8 inches long. His friends were trying to get the thing off his legs with umbrellas. Scary sight man. The thing crawled up the inside of his jeans without him knowing. After that I didn't dare sit down anymore. I think the poor fella must have missed a big part of the race, coz it happened right before the race and he had to seek medical treatment.

last year at Sepang, my entire company had free tix for F1. most of us came back with rashes because I met a bunch of them at the panel clinic at Menara Telekom where we worked. some allergy medication worked eventually. i went to last year's Japan GT at the K2 grand stand and got it again. oh by the way, my rashes lasted for 3 weeks around my neck.

"Got Rashes? Go Sepang!"

Mine is has subsided... took me around a week or more. When I go to JapanGT, I didn't get it because I sat at the grand stands.

I hope SIC will do something about it.... otherwise next year they will lose business.
