5th Gear

hi guys, i need some advice from proton/mitsubishi sifus. currently my 1.8 LE 5th gear kick back each time i engaged it. why? how to solve this problem and how much is the cost? is there any different between the putra, 1.8 LE and 1.8 GTi gear ratio? many thanks....

Should be the same ratio right? My friend's GTi has that problem too. According to the Proton Rally mechanic who was around, it has something to do with the spring in the locking mechanism malfunctioning.

F5M22 gearbox which the wira/satria/putra 1.6 and 1.8 uses has the same ratios
